Zion has a variety of dedicated activities/ministries for adults. If you have any general questions or would like to start another small group, please contact the church office.

Sunday Morning Groups

During the fall, winter, and spring, Zion has two regular Bible study groups that meet on Sundays at 9:15am, during the education hour. (During the summer months, these groups go on hiatus.)

Lectionary Study: Alyce & Denny Gross lead this Bible study in the lounge each Sunday at 9:15am during the education hour. The focus is on the scripture readings and Gospel of the day, which are printed in the Sunday bulletin. 

Atrium Bible Study: Pastor Steve leads an adult Bible study class each Sunday at 9:15am during the education hour. No prior knowledge of the Bible is needed - all are welcome!

Parent Drop-In Group: After dropping your kids in their Sunday school classroom, you are welcome to join other parents in the church kitchen for some coffee and conversation. This is a casual gathering, so drop in any time!

Pub Theology​ - Different Brews + Different Views

Each month, we meet at Desert Edge Brewery in Trolley Square for a discussion, with varying topics and/or guest speakers. We usually meet on a Wednesday evening at 7pm. All are welcome to attend any time! Come enjoy discussion in a casual atmosphere that offers food, drinks, and/or just water =)

Boys, Beer, & Bible Study (men's group)

What can we say?  We love our beer and no-hold's barred Bible study, where we aren't afraid to challenge conventional interpretations. This men's group is hosted by in various homes at 7pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. For more information or the latest schedule, contact Fred Strohacker (fstrohacker@gmail.com).

Men's Wednesday Bible study

This men's group meets each Wednesday morning at 7:00am in Zion's downstairs Terrace Room. Come have breakfast with us and discuss God's Word!

Women's small group

Calling all women seeking fun, fellowship, and study with other women! This women's group is hosted by in various homes at 7pm on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. For more information or the latest schedule, contact Alyce Gross (adgross1@msn.com).
