We welcome all youth from 7th grade to 12th grade to join us in pursuing how God is living within us, guiding us, and gracing us with God's *outrageous love.* Throughout each year, we take part in a variety of activities, organized around fun, Word, and service:
FUN: We are in a rebuilding phase and look forward to building connections within Zion and our peers from all parts of the Salt Lake Valley.
WORD: Join us during the school year on Sundays at 9 am during Education Hour as we dive deeper into the Word. During this time, Faith Formation Disciples (7th-9th graders) meet to explore the Old Testament, New Testament, and Luther 101 before they make the Affirmation of Baptism (Confirmation). Also during this time, Senior High Disciples meet in the Youth Room to engage in what it means to be a Christian in today's world.
SERVICE: Join us as we walk alongside those in our community that may need a little extra help. Throughout the year, we participate in various activities and service projects. Our youth also serve in worship by acolyting or reading at least 6 times a year.
For more information about any youth activities, contact the church office at office@zelc.org.
