Sowing Gratitude - Reaping Generosity
Zion Lutheran Church 2026 Stewardship Appeal
You have multiplied exultation; you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at

Zion Lutheran Church is a vibrant, welcoming community of faith where Christ is proclaimed and experienced through word and deed. Even in this time of pastoral transition, the Spirit continues to guide us confidently and faithfully in our mission. At Zion – a place to belong, grow, and serve--people discover genuine connection with God and with one another.
As we maintain long-standing commitments to local mission partners and our renowned Vacation Bible School Music Camp, we also offer many opportunities for ministry and fellowship for people of all ages and life situations.
Our 2026 stewardship appeal, Sowing Gratitude – Reaping Generosity, celebrates God’s grace at work in our community. With grateful hearts for what God has already sown in our lives, we are invited to respond with generosity: sharing from what we have reaped, so that God’s love may continue to flourish in and through Zion Lutheran Church.
In 2026, Zion will continue tending to ministry excellence by supporting our ministry staff through both increased compensation and bolstering infrastructure. Compensation will be in accordance with industry-standard salary guidelines. This initiative will also address the costs of maintenance, repairs, and needed upgrades in our facility, as well as continue development of outreach and welcoming practices.
The 2026 stewardship appeal, Sowing Gratitude – Reaping Generosity, will give us the opportunity to continue funding general operations and expand our mission through these ministry initiatives. Our appeal goal for 2026 is to increase our generosity by at least $36,000. Your cheerful and generous giving is greatly appreciated and welcomed!
Please pray about Zion’s ministry and mission. When we sow gratitude in response to God’s grace, we reap generosity that multiplies hope, joy, and blessing within our community and beyond.
Remember: every gift sown in gratitude becomes a sign of God’s abundance, reaping generosity that strengthens our ministries and shares Christ’s love. Thank you for being part of this community of faith witnessing to God’s love and grace in Christ Jesus.
